This is a quote made by Victor Hugo and I can agree with it. What this quote means is that you can only tell the truth if you tell them the whole story. If you leave off a portion of it, it won't be the truth. You have to tell them everything or else it won't be the truth. Even if you're saying most of the truth, you must say all of it. That is still considered lying if you are missing one part of it. For example lets say you go out and hang out with your friends and do drugs. If your mom asks you what you did, you'll say some of it but not all of it since you know you'll get in trouble. Just say all of it and choose the right. You shouldn't be doing bad things in the first place. Choose the right and always tell the truth. The WHOLE truth.
